Spiced Apple Turnover

I was in the mood to have some sort of apple dessert and decided on making turnovers. I thought I'd add a twist so added a little spiced apple chutney to the filling. Here's what I did.

Ingredients:
1 chopped Bramley apple
2 tbsp sugar (or to taste)
1 tsp butter
2 tsp spiced apple chutney (or to taste)
Shop bought puff pastry
1 tbsp milk
Granulated sugar for garnishing
Method
Add the butter to a pan and allow this to melt on a medium to low heat. Once melted add in the peeled chopped bramley apple and sugar.
Sauté on a medium to low heat until the liquid has been absorbed and the apple has become slightly soft. Then add in the spiced apple chutney and mix into the apple mixture.
Once everything is mixed through allow the apple mixture to cool down. Once the mixture is cool cut your puff pastry sheets into squares in your preferred size.
Add the cooled down apple mixture onto one side of the pastry then fold the pastry over.
Press the edges of the pastry together and crimp with a fork to seal the turnover. Using a knife add cuts into the tops of the turnovers. Then glaze the top side of the turnovers with some milk.
To finish sprinkle some granulated sugar on which will stick to the milk. Bake in the oven on Gas mark 6 for 20 minutes or until the apple turnovers become golden brown.
The addition of the spiced chutney to the filling adds a nice warmth to this apple turnover.
