Cheesecake Style Shrikhand 2.0

I shared a previous recipe on how to make a cheesecake style shirkhand. I made it again using a different flavour compared to last time. Let's make a deconstructed cheesecake Shrikhand .

Ingredients:

Cardamon Shrikhand

Lemon Curd

Gingernut Biscuits Cardamon shrikhand:

1.5kg Greek style yogurt - hung for 10 hours to remove the liquid

Caster sugar to taste

Crushed cardamom seeds from 4 pods


Method

To a dish I added some Shirkhand which was lightly spiced with cardamon. I did not add a lot of cardamon to this Shirkhand as I would normally, so it would not over power the overall flavour.

To the Shirkhand I drizzled on top some shop bought lemon curd and swirled it into the Shirkhand slightly. I then topped it off with some ground gingernut biscuit crumbs. I blitz some gingernut biscuits in a food processor to get a coarse crumb.

The sour, zesty lemon curd and gingernut biscuit combo pair well together and taste amazing with this Shrikhand. Sprinkle the gingernut biscuit crumbs before serving this deconstructed Shirkhand so the crumbs stay crunchy as it adds a lovely texture whilst eating. Enjoy!
